DANIEL Armstrong, Taylor Aplin and Emily Reay led the medal haul for Kendal ASC at the Cumbria Autumn series of Galas in Whitehaven.
The morning session brought just three medals to the club, but a fruitful afternoon saw the South Cumbrians return with 15 medals in tow.
Armstrong showed great skill and technique to hold off all challenges and snatch victory in the 50m backstroke (39.55) and freestyle (32.86), before taking fifth place in the 50m butterfly.
Aplin also produced outstanding swims at 50m breaststroke (50.73) and 200m freestyle (3.07.93) to land double gold.
Although producing a marvellous swim to win gold in the 50m breaststroke (46.93), Reay had to be content with silver for the 100m breaststroke and the 200m freestyle.
Christopher Stainton, 11, had a mixed day battling his way through the 200m Breaststroke to collect a silver medal in the morning, and added bronze medals at 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle.
Further bronze medals went to Harry Denney (50m and 200m freestyle), Nicola Capstick and Brodie Swallow (200m individual medley).
With awards down to sith place fine performances came from Gregor Rothwell, Amy Reay, Mathew Senior, Ruben Swallow and Jane Day who gave magnificent support to the medal winners and gained valuable experience and a number of personal bests.
