Kendal 33, Beverley 14.
Four fine tries have kept Kendal flying high in North Division One.
Three of them were credited to left winger Luke Ladell and the best of his hat-trick was the third when he scooped a difficult pass off his toes, ducked under the grasp of the cover defence then danced up the touchline beating two more defenders before touching down.
Simon Mulholland was the other try scorer, intercepting a pass to the Beverley right winger deep in his own 22 and racing 80 yards to touchdown under the posts.
It was an all round fine performance by Kendal against possibly the strongest opposition so far this season. Despite falling 13-0 behind in the opening minutes Beverley always threatened to get back into the match and Kendal's defence was severely tested, particularly in the second half.
