SPORTING fixtures across the South Lakes have been postponed as an Arctic blast hits the region on Saturday morning.
Kendal Town's match against Marine in the Evo-Stik Premier League and Benevolent Trophy quarter-finals at Burneside, Staveley United and Kendal Celtic have been postponed.
Kendal Rugby Club had a free weekend scheduled but all matches involving Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Club have been called off.
The hockey match between Kendal men and Preston 3rds has also fallen victim to the weather.
