Judo: Harper to lead five-week school judo initiative

KENDAL Judo Club’s Danny Harper will launch introduction to judo courses at schools across the South Lakes this summer.
Harper, former British Universities Judo champion will provide a pathway into recreational and competitive judo in Kendal by visiting schools in the South Lakes and North Lancashire.
He is a fully qualified UKCC level two judo coach and a qualified PE teacher and the five-week course has been endorsed by the pre-Olympic training venue Kendal Dojo.
The sessions will cost £4 per session and can be on a curricular or extra-curricular basis.
