Levens rule roost in Rothay Bowling League with sides first and third

LEVENS B moved up into third place in the table after defeating Crosthwaite 8-2 in the Rothay Bowling League.
They are only five points behind Staveley A, who beat Coniston A 8-2.
Club colleagues Levens A are still taking the spotlight after another resounding victory away at Bowness A, and they moved a further point clear in the top spot.
In Division Two, Allithwaite A only just held onto their unbeaten status after scraping a draw against Lower Holker B.

THE Kendal and District Bowling League is looking tight, with only two points separating the top three teams.
Crosthwaite A and Levens A produced the best results this week, Crosthwaite at home to Bowness A 9-1 and Levens A away at Lower Holker A 1-9.
Joint-top is shared by Netherfield A, who lost their unbeaten record this week away at Windermere A 7-3, and Holme A, who won at home to Kings Arms Hale 6-4.

WARTON hold onto their lead in the South Westmorland Seniors Bowlng League after a 6-2 triumph, to give them 47 points.
Silverdale kept up the pressure with a resounding 7-1 victory over Victoria, with KA Hale two points behind thanks to victory over Milnthorpe.
Netherfield are on 40 points and fourth despite losing 6-2 to Lower Holker.
