Olympic bronze medallist visits Kendal Leisure Centre

OLYMPIC bronze medallist Cassie Patten visited Kendal Lakes Leisure to give young swimmers tips.

Swimmers from clubs in Kendal, Troutbeck Bridge, Ulverston and Barrow-in-Furness aged eight to 16 met Cassie, who retired through injury last year, and the double silver-medallist from World Championships put on a master class for more than 70 youngsters at the pool.

She also showed youngsters her medals from Melbourne 2007, Seville 2008 and Beijing 2008.
