Hale KA make it five out of five in South Lakeland Rural Bowling League

HALE KA won the South Lakeland Rural Bowling League for the fifth consecutive year after beating Endmoor 5-3.
It capped a great ending to a close seaosn as they finished just two points ahead of Allithwaite, who beat Crosthwaite 5-3 at the weekend.
Results Burton 5, Staveley 3; Burneside 2, Heversham 6; Allithwaite 5, Crosthwaite 3; Endmoor 3, Hale KA 5; Hawkshead 4, Bowness 4; Holme 5, Kirkby Lonsdale 3; Milnthorpe 5, Windermere 3; Victoria 2, Netherfield 6; Subscription 5, Sedbergh 3; Lindale Bye.
LEVENS A consolidated their position at the top of Division One with a 9-1 victory over Bowness A and they now have a lead of 10 points over Staveley A, who lost 6-4 away at third-placed Coniston A.
In Division Two leaders Coniston B lost their 3rd match of the season 7-3 to Staveley B, but remain nine points ahead of Allithwaite A with two games left.

WITH only two weeks left in the Kendal and District Bowling League teams are still fighting in all five Divisions to avoid relegation.
Division One’s Staveley A put in a confident 6-4 win against Lower Holker A to put them 14 points ahead of the bottom two with two games to go, while in Division Two Ingleborough A are fighting to the end as they produced a confident home win against third place Burton 7-3.
In Division Three Heversham A and Milnthorpe B are scrapping to the end as only two points separate them.
In Division Four things are still not certain, KA Hale C are in the bottom three with Ingleborough B and Victoria C.

Both sides picked up victories with Netherfield A running out 7-1 victors over Lower Holker A and Warton A prevailing against Windermere A 6-2.
Kirkby Lonsdale A top Division Two by two points over Ingleborough A and Holme A, while Springfield A lead Lower Holker B by eight points in Division Three.
Allithwaite lead Division Four with 103 points.
