Rugby – Home advantage for Kendal and Kirkby

Kendal's first outing in rugby's EDF Intermediate Cup is brings a re-match with North Division One opponents Huddersfield on November 18. After byes in the opening rounds Kendal have home advantage and history of having beaten the Yorkshire side 23-13 back in September, but it will be a tough match as the sides have virtually identical records and currently lie fourth and fifth respectively in the league.

Meanwhile Kirkby Lonsdale have already battled through two rounds in the EDF Intermediate Vase and their third round match will be at home to Widnes from the South Lancs and Cheshire League on November 18
