We were blessed with a beautiful day of bright sun and crisp, gleaming river.
Approximately 250 visitors raised nearly £1000 for the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.
It was most flattering just how positive people were having explored our garden and watched various hand-tool demonstrations.
Some wrote such positive comments in our ‘visitor’s book.’ Herewith a few examples:- “Thank you for an inspiring visit – a place reflecting its history and in tune with nature.” And “Thank you for allowing us into your secret garden –somewhere to heal the soul with its timeless quality.” And “ atypical is refreshing.” And “ Not so much a garden, more a way of life. It’s excellent that NGS embraces gardens like this. Wonderful glimpse into another world.”
I quote these not to show off, but to display my relief that our endeavours seem to bare fruit.
We would welcome visitors whenever. Just phone first to arrange a visit.(01539 725168)
