CLUB officials have rewarded the bedrock of Lancashire County Cricket Club’s squad with new contracts to secure their immediate future at the Club.

Following a successful season which saw them clinch the LV= County Championship Second Division title in style, the bulk of the playing squad have committed themselves to the Red Rose.

Former Read professional Jordan Clark, Darwen's Alex Davies, Arron Lilley and Luis Reece have all extended their stays at the Club until the end of 2015.

Karl Brown, Kyle Hogg, Paul Horton, Simon Kerrigan, Stephen Parry, Luke Procter and Tom Smith, who have all come up through the ranks together to establish themselves in the team over recent seasons, have also penned deals until 2015.

Earby's Glen Chapple, Read's Oliver Newby and Andrea Agathangelou have also extended their contracts by a year until the end of 2014.

All-rounder Liam Livingstone signed a one-year professional deal after making the step up from a scholarship contract.
