Cricket - Netherfield capture U15 NatWest county title

NETHERFIELD U15s became Cumbria champions in the NatWest National Club Under-15 Championship after defeating Workington U15s by six wickets at Parkside last Thursday.

Workington were restricted to 95-1 with D. Robson top-scoring on 35 and Mike Smith taking 2-10.

Netherfield knocked off the runs at 96-4 in the 18th of the 20 allotted overs.

Bradley Earl hit 45 and Josh Ford 29 not out.

Netherfield now host the Northumberland champions at a date to be arranged.
