NETHERFIELD Seconds won the key game at the top of Division Two to go to within just one point behind league leaders Leyland after winning at St Annes by 125 runs.

Netherfield batting first posted a commanding 200-4 off 45 overs, Matthew Goodall hitting an unbeaten 73.

Nathan Dixon the second top scorer with 49.

St Annes blown away in just 33.1 overs for 75, Marc Hadwin ripping through the hosts with figures of 7-16.

In the other game, Kendal Seconds defeat Preston Seconds by four wickets at Shap Road.
