Netherfield Seconds eased to a comfortable six wicket win against Lancaster Seconds at Parkside Road.

After winning the toss and electing to field, Netherfield restricted Lancaster to 125-9 off 45 overs.

Marc Hadwin returned figures of 5-11.

Stuart Dixon, Joel Bibby, Dylan Hoyle and Scott Clement all weighed in with one wicket each, while Lancaster's M. Farouk posted a half century as he made 50 runs.

In reply, Netherfield eased home in 29 overs as they made 129-4.

Matthew Atkinson made 23 and Brendan Herron 20. However Dylan Hoyle's unbeaten 17 and Scott Clement's unbeaten knock of 31 guided the seconds to victory.

Kendal's Seconds lost by one wicket at Chorley in a low-scoring game. Kendal were seemingly down and out when they were bowled out for 103.

However, Joseph Dodds returned figures of 4-22 while the returning Nick Lewthwaite returned 2-19 as Kendal fought back in the second innings.

But Chorley edged home making 104-9 in 23.2 overs, Will Moulton with 37 and Ian Oakes with 35.
