ANDREW Dugdale had Fleetwood Seconds on the rack as he struck with 8-40 to steer Kendal Seconds’ to a ten-run win in Sunday’s Divison match at Broadwaters.
He took three wickets in eight balls at one stage and wrapped up the visitors’ innigns with two wicket maidens.
Earlier, Kendal had set a target of 121 all out, with Mark Phillips (42) and Alan Thompson (35) sharing a stand of 55.
Main wicket-takers for Fleetwood were J. Bell (3- 3) and N. Gregson (3-55).
Netherfield Seconds were in the runs against Carnforth at Parkside road on Saturday.
An opening partnership of 119 between Ben Barrow (63) and Shane Hyland (53) put the hosts in the driving seat.
A delayed 3pm start meant only 33 overs a side, but Netherfield piled up 174-4 with Grahma Baker (22) and Ollie Hall (23) also in the runs.
Carnforth’s W. Tomlin made 32 out of a Carnforth reply of 78-6 in the drawn game, with Josh Stafford taking 2-24 and Matthew Clinton 2-16.
On sunday, Netherfield beat Leyland by one wicket in a thriller.
Leyland were dimissed for 78 with Clinton (3-16) and M. Hill (3-12) doing the main damage.
All-round Dan Davidson also took 2-11 and his unbeaten 27 with the bat won the match for Netherfield after they stood at 15-6. Davidson guided them to the narrow victory at 78-9 in 26 overs.
