Aaron Taylor picked up three assists and a goal as Lancaster dispatched Burscough 4-1 at the Giant Axe Stadium.
The City striker, also the Dollies' top scorer in all competitions, set up Sam Bailey twice in the first half with the former Bolton Wanderers winger picking up his first two goals for the club.
Taylor created the third before the visitors scored from a penalty.
Taylor got on the scoresheet himself late on, finishing off a counter attacking move.
