RICHARD Close’s Milnthorpe Corinthians team have their biggest match in recent history this weekend when they represent the Westmorland FA in the final of the Northern Counties County Championship.
Corinthians will line up against Bradford team Field FC, representing West Riding FA, from the West Yorkshire Premier League
Chairman Ian Hunt said: "This is a fantastic occasion for our club, the Westmorland F.A and raises the whole profile of our village. The players and management are really looking forward to the game and the day in general. With a large crowd expected I’m sure they will do our club and county proud."
Corinthians beat Vauxhall Motors and Beverley Town on the way to the final.
The match kicks off 2pm on Saturday at Milnthorpe.
