THE management of Kendal Town has been put in the hands of Ian Kilford, Dave Foster and James Nichol, in Lee Ashcroft's absence.
Ashcroft's three-month ban from football began today, Monday, lasting until June 1, and Kilford has been named as interim caretaker manager.
A club spokesman confirmed: "Kendal Town manager Lee Ashcroft has been banned from all football matters with Kendal Town FC from 1 March 2010 to 1 June 2010.
"Despite the club appealing about the severity of the original ban the FA commission upheld their original sentence.
"The club are fully behind Lee and in the interim Ian Kilford will take over as caretaker manager with James Nichol and David Foster assisting."
The trio face a tough first test on the road at Guiseley tomorrow, Tuesday, before another tricky game at North Ferriby United on Saturday.
Ashcroft will return to work on 2 June 2010 as Kendal Town manager.
