A GARY McEvatt hat-trick helped Kendal Town to a 5-3 win at Worksop Town in the Evo-Stik Premier League this afternoon, Saturday.
Town trailed 2-0 after 20 minutes but McEvatt levelled the match at half-time before putting Town 3-2 up in the 47th minute.
Further goals from Alex Taylor and Ciaran Donnelly ensured the win before Worksop made it 5-3 from the penalty spot in injury time.
The win was the perfect tonic for Town fans after last weekend's 4-3 reverse against Burscough and will give the side confidence ahead of Tuesday's Doodson Cup match with Lancaster City at Giant Axe.
