CARNFORTH Rangers put six goals past Ingleton to move second in the Premier Division of the North Lancashire and District Football League.
Nicholas Pidcock, Daniel Syson, Gavin Darby, Adze Damboyi and Jamie Wakeman were among the goalscorers while Ingleton also netted an own goal as Rangers moved three points clear of third place Bentham, who were on cup duty.
Rangers sit second on goal difference behind Highgrove FC, who won 2-0 at home to Storeys.
Cartmel and District climbed to sixth spot with a 2-0 win against Caton United. Goals were scored by Joel Drinkall and Matthew Dodwell.
Arnside gave their survival hopes a boost as they defeated bottom club Swarthmoor SC 5-2.
James Thornton hit a brace with further goals coming courtesy of James Kirkham, Joe Taylor and James Bland. The victory lifts Arnside above Ingleton to third bottom, but they have three games in hand.
Bentham meanwhile progressed in the Craven and District FA Senior Cup with a 6-1 home win against Grindleton.
Bentham scored all the goals with James Earnshaw, Daniel Briggs-Calvert and Chris Hodgkinson all bagging braces while Grindleton’s solitary effort came from an own goal.
