It has been a frustrating period for all concerned with Kendal Town. The team are going through a bit of a bad spell and Saturdays 5-1 defeat at Ossett pretty much summed up what's been going on over the past few weeks.

The score line looks convincing, however when you have your 1st choice goalie sent off after 12 minutes for a nothing incident and a defender in Dave Standley going in the net's, it's no surprise we lost 5-1!. That on top of Callum Warburton getting a red card near full time for dissent!, it's fair to say the Ossett trip wasn't one of the better journey's for the lads!.

The team did give 100% despite the situation and even equalised briefly so the effort and spirt is still strong.

I mean i am not making excuses etc, and a defeats a defeat but it seems when the chips are down thing's tend to go against the team.

Town will hopefully put the misfortune of last Saturday aside with 2 massive cup matches. Wednesday night see's the boy's travel to Conference North Southport in The Lancashire CO OP Cup quarter final's, whilst at the weekend they are home to Unibond North's Skelmersdale Utd in the Challenge cup quarter final's. Both huge matches and both a perfect opportunity for Town to progress!

It's really a case of sticking together and putting the faith into Ashy to turn the situation around which i am sure he will do!.

1 thing that did alarm me was the treatment Ashy got from 1 fan at last Tuesdays home match with Nantwich. Ashy has done wonders for this club, so mr Rob Key please either support the team or get lost!

Now i have got that off my chest :), hope Town can turn things around this week.
