After 3 straight defeats, Town made the trip to Witton at the weekend knowing that they had to win.

And after a dodgy 1st half, Town came out in the 2nd half and blitzzed the home side, scoring 3 unanswered goals. (winning 3-1)

It was key that the team bounced back and they showed great character and hopefully they can go on a bit of a run now.

Loan signing Warren Beattie, scored a debut goal and the returning Dave Foster put in an impressive performance, it feels like a Kendal Town re union at the minute, with Scott Redhead and now Dave Foster back at the club. I suppose they are Kendal Town, and that including Ian Kilford and of course Lee Ashcroft, adds more experience to what is a young side.

Fozzy's experience will help, the strikers (Craig Hobson,Alex Taylor and Ted Harrison,)And i think thats one of the reasons why Ashy brought Fozzy back to the club, as the team is very young and the strikers are inexperienced. Fosters experience plus his strike rate in front of goal can only help the side.

Town have a free week for once, the next match is this Saturday coming when they host Boston at Parkside Road. This weekends opponents beat Kendal a few weeks ago down at their place a result which Town will want to avenge and i think they will want to prove that they are better than what they showed that day.

So come on down, we need all the support we can get, lets try and boost these attendance figures at Parkside Road :)
