Dave Foster grabbed 3 as Town edged a 3-2 classic at home to North Ferriby at the weekend.

A crucial result for Town as they now sit in the final play off place and with games running out, Kendal have a great chance of keeping hold of that play off position.

Hednesford are out of form whilst Kendal are flying and its funny how things change in a season, at one stage it looked like Hednesford would run away with it at the top of the league, but now they sit below us and are struggling to get that play off spot.

For Town they travel to 2nd from bottom side Prescot on Tuesday night, knowing a win would put a small gap between them and the rest of the chasing pack.

The team have done exceptionally well this season, to be in the play off positions above the likes of FC United, Guiesley and Hednesford is a massive acheivement. The challenge now is to surge on and seal that play off position.

Saturdays 3-2 win was a funny match, Kendal were dominating and went 2-0 up, however they let the visitors back in and by the early stages of the 2nd half Town from 2-0 were level. However I think the fact the visitors came back at them gave the lads that extra determination to get playing again, and they did and in the end ran out comfortable winners.

Dave Foster was always going to score for us again, he has been in the right positions in the past few matches but now to grab a hat trick will give him a boost for the rest of the season.

Prescot on Tuesday night, a tough match, but very winnable, we smashed them for 5 last week, but the score line didnt really reflect the match, so it won't be easy thats for sure. And with them fighting for their lives, i am sure Town will be in for a battle!.
