Unbelivable is the only word i can think of , for Kendal to reach the playoffs is way beyond anything which i expected at the start of the season.

Saturday was a dramatic match too say the least,Buxton travelled to Parkside Road, with nothing to play for and in the 1st half Kendal blitzed them going into a 2-0 half time lead.

However i don't know what was said in The Buxton dressing room at half time, but whatever was said worked, as they came out and made it 2-2.

Town's odds of getting into the playoffs at that stage were pretty long, other teams results were going against them and they had lost the early momentum which they built up in that 1st half.

However the turning point seemed to be one of 2 things, Ashy pushing Tony Hallam upfront going 4-3-3 and, the news filtering through that BPA had drawn level at FC United.

Those ingredients seemed to work for Kendal who found their 2nd wind, and on the 88th minute shear joy for all at Parkside Road, when Danny Wisdom headed home the winner!.

Their was of course a nervous 2 minutes plus 4 extra minutes of stoppage time to look forward too and then at full time everyone waited and waited and waited on the FC United vs BPA result, everyone was listening in on the radio, and then the news broke and the whole place went mad. FC and BPA drew, Town had won which meant Kendal were in the playoffs!

The fans and players celebrated with each other on the pitch and Town now travel to Ilkeston tonight for the playoff semi final!

And whos to say that Town won't get promoted now?, they stand a fantastic chance, and why not? the team are on form things are going their way and it's the best chance of getting promoted that they have ever had.

Tonight is going to be another tense match, it has to be won on the night, so who knows whats going to happen next?

However whatever haoppens now the team can be proud, as they have done really well this season.
