SECOND-HALF goals from Mark Selby and Cory Robinson completed the comeback as Ibis rocked Windermere SC at Queen’s Park – only the second defeat this season for the league leaders.

After Parkinson opened the scoring for the hosts inside 15 minutes, Josh Ford hauled Ibis level from the penalty spot before half-time.

Ford missed his last spot-kick but calmly slotted past Windermere keeper Mario Capaccio to lay the foundations for a second-half Ibis revival.

Selby’s fine individual strike gave the away side the lead before Robinson settled matters with ten minutes remaining – sending Ibis fifth in Westmorland Football League Division Two.

Kendal Celtic kept in touch with the division’s leading lights, returning from Woodside Road with a resounding 5-1 victory over Endmoor KGR.

Kryzsztof Wronski opened the scoring with the lead doubled by man of the match Ben Hughes before the break, although Jordan Kenny replied for the hosts early in the second-half.

Brad Earl settled matters with two goals before Tom Bush added gloss to the scoreline with a neat volleyed finish to seal maximum points.

Elsewhere in Division Two, four goals from Brody Wallace-Moffatt propelled Kendal County Reserves to a 6-1 win at Eden Thistle as Keswick Reserves beat Kirkby Thore Rangers 1-0.

In Division One, Ambleside Reserves crashed 7-3 at Penrith Reserves despite a Miroslav Bilik double while the prolific Jonathan Lowis found the net as Lunesdale United beat Staveley United 5-1.

Carvetii United made progress in the High Sheriff’s Cup, beating Burneside 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 extra-time draw.

Brett Croskell scored twice as Burneside Reserves overcame Esthwaite Vale 2-1 in Division Three, while Braithwaite posted a 5-3 win against Kendal United Reserves.

In the fourth tier, Anthony Lund grabbed the only goal of the game as leaders Appleby Reserves saw off Carleton Banks as Lunesdale United Reserves hammed Penrith Academy 5-0.

Graeme Archer, Jay Hayton and Phillip Jones did the damage in front of goal in Ibis Reserves’ 3-2 success over Carvetii United Reserves.

Greystoke Reserves thrashed Dent Reserves 5-1 while Ullswater United overcame Penrith Saints 4-0 in a battle of the bottom two.
