Only two games survived on yet another miserable weekend as the weather continues to hit the Westmorland Football League.

The games to survive both came from Division Three. AFC Carlisle drew 3-3 with Ibis Reserves, with Jay Hayton, Ross Swidenbank and Adam Owen on the scoresheet for Ibis.

Eden Thistle drew 2-2 with Appleby's Reserves. Dylan Critchley and Adraham Butterworth were on target for Appleby.

Both games were played on Harraby's artificial surface in Carlisle.

The Westmorland Football League will be hoping the weather improves, as a full set of fixtures is scheduled for this coming Saturday.

In The Senior Challenge Cup, Kendal Utd and Appleby go head to head at Castle Drive, in a game which has been postponed on numerous occasions over the last few months.

Defending Challenge Cup holders Keswick travel to The Ayland Recreation Ground to play Division Two side Staveley Utd.

The last remaining Junior Cup fixture is also scheduled as Windermeres Reserves play Kendal Utd's Reserves.

In Westmorland League Division One, fourth-placed Ibis will be aiming to halt a run of two straight defeats when they host bottom- of-the-table Unisun Athletic. Kirkoswald host Windermere at the Old Showfield, while Sedbergh Wanderers entertain Penrith's Reserves.

The other Division One games see Wetheriggs Utd play Lunesdale Utd, with Ambleside Utd hosting Kendal County's Reserves.

Dent and Endmoor KGR battle it out in The Mason and Freeman Cup, while Division Two is also busy as Braithwaite host Shap, Carleton Banks face off against Burneside, Coniston play Wetheriggs Utd's Reserves and Greystoke host Ambleside Utd's Reserves.

Langwathby Utd finish the afternoon off with a home game against Keswick's Reserves.

Division Three is also jam packed, with Endmoor KGR Reserves facing Ibis Reserves in the stand-out game of the day.

Other fixtures include second-placed Burneside Reserves travelling to play AFC Carlisle with league leaders Eden Thistle making the trip to play Lunesdale Utd's Reserves at Maurice Park.
