The latest round of Westmorland Football League action saw plenty of goals on a busy afternoon across all three divisions.

In Division One, Shaun Gardner’s last minute goal moved Sedbergh Wanderers to within two points of Appleby at the top of the table after they edged Ibis 3-2 at the Havera playing fields. Ibis who are still winless saw their goalkeeper sent off, while Tim Blamire and Dan Jones scored the consolation goals.

In the other games Rob Whitton scored a brace, while Ryan Bell was also on target in Kirkoswald's 3-2 win at Penrith Reserves.

Burneside also ran out 3-2 winners after they saw off Ambleside United, while Pirelli defeated Windermere SC 5-3.

Endmoor KGR returned to the top of Westmorland League Division Two after a dominant 7-1 win at Windermere Reserves. Connor Collins scored a hattrick, while Nathan Dixon, Matthew Wilson, Adam Soulby and Dean Sill were all on the score sheet.

Shap picked up a 5-3 win at Carleton Banks, Luke Frazer with a hattrick before a brace by Jordan Palmer saw the black and whites move up to fifth in the table.

In the other games Ullswater United defeated Staveley United 2-0, Keswick Reserves saw off Greystoke 1-0, Eden Thistle edged out Langwathby United 2-1, Dent defeated Castletown United 6-3, while Braithwaite saw off Wetherigg United Reserves 3-0.

AFC Carlisle remained top of Westmorland League Division Three after they routed Penrith Town 5-0, Ibis Reserves moved up to fourth in the division after they edged out Penrith Academy 4-3.

William Cornthwaite and Dean McNeil scored a brace each in Burneside Reserves 5-1 win at Penrith Saints.

Endmoor KGR Reserves collected a much-needed win after they defeated Penrith Royal 5-4. Luke Ireland with a brace while Nico Noreci was also on the score sheet.

Ambleside Town defeated Lunesdale United Reserves 3-1, while Ambleside United Reserves won by the same score in their victory at Kirkoswald Reserves
