THE TOTESCOOP 6 is a big pot today and I'll be having a crack at it. Going through the form for the races, it's hard not to think Jono O'Neill has the answer to the final race in NOSTRINGSATTACHED.

AP McCoy rides the eight-year-old import, who won with plenty in hand abroad last time and should give the in-form stable a decent £30,000-plus prize in the 3.40 at Market Rasen.

Of, course the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury (3.25) is the main event of the day and trainer Richard Hannon's record in the race is peerless with seven wins over the years.

Favourites have a poor record here as there is usually some improvers lurking in the field, but Richard Hughes - down to ride Hannon's favourite Monsiieur Chevalier - was sportingly pretty enthusiastic about stablemate Palisades Park on Channel 4's Morning Line this morning.

A striking horse with a white blaze he tore from an outside draw right across the field to the rail when cruising to victory over six furlongs last time out, and with that sort of speed the drop back to the minimum should not be a problem.

Reach for the Sky, who is likely to be much better than his run one, won one form suggests, is another who must be feared.

Schoolboy Champ and Shamandar are sure to step up in time, too, but PALISADES PARK has top jockey Ryan Moore on board and in rain-softened ground will be staying on. He just gets the vote in a tricky one to call.

COOTEHILL is on the upgrade and Nigel Twiston-Davies is out to spoil Evan Williams' good record in a hot hurdle race at Market Rasen (2.05), which opens the Tote Scoop 6. A Coote Scoop looks likely.

My idea of the best outsider of the day is ICELANDIC is the Shadwell Stakes at Newbury. A massive price because his form this season is nothing to shout about, I reckon can get into the shake-up, especially as hotpot War Artist is having his first run of the season and his trainer was a bit doubtful about the rain that is dousing the country. Each-way claims for Icelandic then (a cool Scoop) and possibly one to spoil a lot of plans for punters aiming to land the TV bet.
