A THIRD inspection will be held at Carlisle Racecourse ahead of Wednesday's scheduled meeting.
An 8am inspection was moved to 10am following overnight frost and temperatures plummeted to -3 degrees.
The race meet will now depend on the inspection at noon.
The feature event of the afternoon is the £10,000 Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Novices' Chase.
The two-mile race may see the appearance of northern trainer Howard Johnson's Cheltenham Festival prospect Door Boy.
Owned by Andrea and Graham Wylie, the seven-year-old is unbeaten over fences.
The opening race would be at 1.35pm
