Horse Racing: Carlisle races frozen off

CARLISLE's scheduled race meeting for this afternoon, Wednesday, has been frozen off.

The decision to cancel the meeting was taken after inspections at the racecourse this morning.

Course clerk Andrew Tulloch said the ground had not warmed as quick as expected and there was still frost on the course at midday.
