DON'T get caught up in the Voy Per Ustedes short-priced bandwagon for Sandown's Tingle Creek Chase (2.35).
Remember Monet's Garden gave him a real race in the Arkle last March and was only just over two lengths away at the finish line - and conceding 3lb because his an age allowance.
Trained by Nicky Richards at Greystoke, near Penrith, Monet's looks the type to relish a slugging battle much more than Voy, in this testing ground.
You can argue Monet, who turned over Gold Cup hero Kauto Star last time out (admittedly receiving a stone), is best over an extra half-mile, but the uphill finish and soft going will compensate for that.
Ring The Boss makes a quick reappearance after winning at Newbury last Sunday in the Paddy Power Hurdle at the Esher track (3.10) and the hint should be taken.
That was a fourth consuective win for Phillip Hobbs' charge and he should oblige again. The only danger is if there's no pace, which would be Spring Mile winner European Dream into the argument in a slow-run race, but Ring the Boss deserves his favourite's tag.
Hobbs gives Pancake his fencing debut (2.05) and the Cyborg gelding is attempting to follow stablemate Fair Along, who won this race last year.
He looks tailor-made for the bigger obstacles and is better value than the exposed market leaders.
