Tonight’s Unibond Premier League game between Kendal Town and Whitby Town is almost certain to go ahead as scheduled at 7.45. Town say there was to be a pitch inspection at 3pm but only as a precaution. A club official said: "The pitch is in a good nick and it’s almost certain the game will be played."
