HOCKEY: Kendal Ladies retained their
Penrith Six-a-side Tournament trophy when they defeated Glaxo Ladies 6-3 in Sunday's final. Kendal won all of their group matches, beating Penrith Juniors (4-0), Tynedale (5-0), Lancaster (4-0) and Dalston (4-1).
A JOINT uunder-13 team representing Windermere Hockey Club and Lakes school boys were runners up in the Cumbria, Northumbria and Borders hockey tournament and have won through to the North West finals, at Belle Vue, Manchester, on April 27.
