BOGDANKA PTR rider James Ellison is looking for a strong result in front of the British crowd as the World Supersport Championship returns to England this weekend.

After a promising eighth place at Brno in the Czech Republic, Ellison is looking forward to another ‘home’ race.

He said: “Obviously I'm really excited to have another home race as Donington was good for us until I was forced to retire.

"There is no real track advantage to the Brits as I have only raced there once before just like the World Supersport riders but it's the fans that make the difference so I'm looking forward to it and will be pushing 100 per cent as normal."

And with teammate Pawel Szkopek showing potential for the top 10, team manager Simon Buckmaster believes the remainder of the season will be promising for the Polish team.

He said: “It has been a tough season for many reasons for James to this point but we are all motivated for Silverstone and it is crunch time for him coming to his home race - we need a good result and he has all the tools to get one.”
