THERE’S still time to enter the Lancashire Automobile Club’s Speed Weekend – but you’ll have to be quick.
The annual two-day event, which takes place this weekend at the Three Sisters Circuit already has a healthy grid, but the organisers will accept late entries.
The meeting is open to anyone with a suitable car that has a Speed competition licence. said LAC spokesman Chris Lee.
“It’s a great weekend for competitors and spectators alike. We already have 60 cars for Saturday and 40 for Sunday, but we’d happily take more “ said LAC spokesman Chris Lee.
“There’s a two-lap format on Saturday and a single-lap, using a different layout on Sunday, with signing on from 9am.
“Practice starts at 10am and the time runs commence at 1pm. There are 20 classes with competition cars that range from Minis right through to Formula One-style racing cars. There’s also a special class for Morgans.”
Anyone interested in entering can contact Jan Chesters, tel: 01253 732983, before 9pm.
The LAC are also looking for marshals to help run the event, anyone interested in volunteering can contact Chris Lee, tel 01925 727794.
