WITH 50 weeks to go North West comedian Laurence Clark has received funding from the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, Arts Council England, the UK Arts Council and British Council.
Mr Clark is one of 12 commissioned projects to receive a share of £700,000 to fund his ‘Demotivational Speaker’ show, which questions why some things are considered inspiring and other’s aren’t.
Through the show audiences will be encouraged to re-examine the stereotypical way in which they view the Paralympics.
