A STUDENT from Kendal has won a silver medal playing water polo for Great Britain juniors at the Pan Pacific Invitational Water Polo Cup in Calgary, Canada.
Glen Robinson, 17, of Mintsfeet Road, was part of the GB team that went down 18-5 to Australia in the cup's final.
A student at Lancaster and Morecambe College and a member of the high-profile Lancaster Water Polo Club,he scored goals in most of the matches, including vital strikes as GB beat New Zealand in the semi-finals on a penalty shoot-out.
