WINDERMERE came twice from behind to earn a spirited draw with high-flying Brookfield.
League leaders Brookfield started brightly and scored an early goal but Windermere responded well.
Sally Harrison and Alison Spiby worked hard to dominate the midfield.
They began to send some delightful through balls to the forwards and it was from one of these passes that the prolific Sinead Fox grabbed Windermere's equalizer.
Despite a solid defensive effort from Emma Houlihan and Helen Parsons Brookfield took the lead again at the start of the second half.
But a determined Windermere side drew level once more after Jess McAvoy's lightening reactions saw her slot home from close range after a rebound from the Brookfield keeper.
She was later named man of the match.
Windermere held on for the last 10 minutes and move up to fourth in the Lancashire Central Division 2 with a game in hand on their nearest rivals.
