KIRKBY Lonsdale Rugby Club have teamed up with the PE department at Dallam School to give students the chance to receive coaching from the club's current coaches and players.
Funding is coming from Sport England, the RFU and KLRUFC and is supported by Dallam School offering the venue. The funding is in place for two years to run a 10 week programme throughout the Autumn and Spring terms, and begins on Monday (December 8).
Cumbria Rugby Officer (CRO) for South Lakes and Barrow, Garry Holmes, will be present to help support the launch of the satellite club. Any players from any other clubs and schools in the local area are welcome to attend.
The club is free to anyone who wants to attend and is open to anyone between the ages of 11 to 18.
