GOLF: Captain's Cup winner
ALAN Wilkinson won the Windermere Golf Club Captain's Cup after a three-way card play-off.
Wilkinson, Ian Threadgold and Carol Barrow all finished on 39 points but Wilkinson got the nod on account of having the best score on the back nine.
Evonne Mather was fourth with Phil Holbrook fifth - again separated by a card play-off - as they finished with 37 points.
In the Thursday Stableford, Doug Huntingdon was first with 39 points, ahead of Keith Barrow (37) and Chris Green (36).
