WARTON A remain title favourites in Division One of the South Westmorland Seniors Bowling League after a stunning 7-1 victory over KA Hale eased them five points clear at the summit of Division One.
Netherfield B, in fourth place, were also big winners, defeating Springfield A by the same scoreline in another decidedly one sided contest.
Meanwhile, Holme A boast a five point lead in Division Two, with 77 points, while Bolton le Sands, in second spot, have 72 points.
Crosthwaite A are in third place with 65 points, but Carnforth B continue to struggle at the bottom of the table.
In Division Three, Milnthorpe A have the led the way for several weeks now with Springfield B in second place (52 points) and Endmoor A in third place (47 points) Burnside B are out in front in Division Four with 54 points, although they slumped to a rare defeat to strugglers Langdale.
Abbot Hall B remain favourites to claim the title in Division Five, but second placed Arnside B remain in the hunt, just five points adrift. Burton in Lonsdale are third with 43 points.
