WINDERMERE A produced a fine performance to draw 5-5 with title chasing Victoria A in the Kendal and District Bowling League Division One.

Dropped points means Victoria are now 10 behind leaders Holme A who won 9-1 against Netherfield A.

Holme travel to second placed Victoria A this week in a top of the table clash that could go some way to determine the destination of the title.

Lindale A are 14 points clear at the top of Division Two after a resounding 8-2 win against tenth place Milnthorpe A.

Second-placed Kirkby Lonsdale A slipped to 7-3 home defeat to Allithwaite A.

Netherfield C, Staveley A, Crosthwaite A and Allithwaite A all remain in the hunt for the second promotion place.

Division Three leaders Ambleside A beat Windermere B 7-3 to stretch their lead to nine points after second placed Abbot Hall lost to Lower Holker B by the same scoreline.

Heversham A continue to put the pressure on Division Four leaders Burton after an 8-2 win against eighth place Sedbergh.

Leaders Burton B lost 6-4 at Netherfield D but still have an 8 point lead at the top.

Crosthwaite B continue to produce results at home - 8-2 over Subscription B - to keep them in third place just one point ahead of Subscription B who are chasing hard.

In Division Five, leaders Arnside B beat Subscription C 8-2 while second-placed Victoria C lost 9-1 away at Ingleborough B Windermere C are not far behind following their 8-2 home win over Lindale C.

These three teams are in a good position for promotion but need to keep up the results in the last five weeks of the season.

Burneside C produced a dominate 10-0 win this week at home to Milnthorpe C to stay 11 points clear at the top.

Lindale D produced some fine away form winning, 8-2 at Subscription D and third-placed Victoria D won comfortable at home over Endmoor C 8-2.
