CARR Mill Bowling Club's Mark Webster and Karl Holden won the top gong at the Jim Oswald Memorial Open Pairs Competition, sponsored by Terry Mercer and Sue Hillbeck.
Held at Kendal Victoria Bowling, the duo beat Ray Russell and Keith Lowther (Carnforth) 21-16 in the final after seeing off Geoff Thompson (Victoria) and John Whitehead (Holme) in the last four.
Russell and Lowther progressed after defeating Mark Holden and Louise Ollerton (Birchley St Mary's) in the other semi-final.
