Roy and Tony Moxham won the open doubles competition at Netherfield Bowling Club, beating Callum Baxter and Matthew Stewart 21-15 in a competitive encounter.
The Moxhams, who claimed the prize of £200, were up against two resilient opponents.
The Open Doubles Bowling Competition, which was sponsored by The Independent Assett Management Company, attracted many bowlers from across Cumbria on what was a pleasant day at Netherfield Bowling Club.
The Moxhams eased to the final after defeating Ted Leather and Andy Yare 21-6.
Callum Baxter and Matthew Stewart, meanwhile, had battled past Chris Wyatt and Matthew Wilson from Victoria Bowling Club to book their place in the showpiece occasion.
The next open competition that will be hosted by Netherfield Bowling Club takes place on Saturday, May 28.
