It was a busy afternoon of action in the Senior Bowling League, with a lot of important games played.

In Division One, Netherfield A climbed to the summit after a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Warton A, as two in-form sides went head to head at Parkside Road.

In the other games Silverdale A defeated Kirkby Lonsdale A 7-1, while Lindale A and Lower Holker A won by the same score as they overcame Holme A and Netherfield B respectively.

Levens A picked up a 6-2 win at Burneside A, while Bolton-le-Sands defeated Springfield A 6-2.

Carnforth A opened up a four point gap at the top of Division Two, as they saw off Ingleborough 6-2. Windermere A won 5-3 at Warton B. Crosthwaite A won by the same score as they defeated Milnthorpe A.

Arnside A eased past Heversham A with a 6-2 win, while Bowness A also won 6-2, defeating Endmoor A.

In Division Three, Abbot Hall A routed Sedbergh 8-0, while Victoria and Carnforth were 6-2 winners.

Levens B, Kirkby Lonsdale B and Holme B all won 8-0 in Division Four, while the closest games saw Endmoor draw 4-4 with Abbot Hall B while Langdale ran out 5-3 winners over Crosthwaite B.

Division Five saw some competitive games as Heversham B and Staveley B battled to 5-3 wins, while Netherfield C routed Sedbergh A 8-0.

Burton-in-Lonsdale and Arnside B also collected wins, both running out 6-2 winners.
