WINDERMERE go-kart driver Sam White enjoyed another impressive weekend behind the wheel by winning in Wales.

Sam White was competing in the 5th round of the National Karting Federation championship at Glan y gors, north Wales.

In the first heat of the weekend he raced his way through the pack from 10th to finished second, while he won the second heat having started in third.

A collision in the third heat however made things slightly more difficult for White. Having performed brilliantly to make his way from 20th to fifth, he was shunted from behind causing him to spin out.

With just two laps to go he was able to recover to eventually finish twelfth.

That gave him a start from P2 for the final, where he was able to take the lead into the first corner and managed to retain it for all but one lap to take the win.
