Martin Gilpin and Ian Nicholson won the Charter Doubles Competition at Netherfield Bowling Club after defeating Brian Lynch and David Lilley 21-10 in the final.
Gilpin and Nicholson, who claimed the £200 prize, were impressive against two tough opponents.
The Charter Doubles Competition attracted a range of sponsors from Netherfield Cricket Club, Clark Shoes, The Eric Wright Group and Benchmark Kitchens Joinery.
Gilpin and Nicholson eased to the final after seeing off Ray Russell and Keith Lowther 21-10.
Bryan Lynch and David Lilley booked their place in the final after a 21-15 win over Dave Dickinson and Alf Moore, from Ulverston.
