The latest round of the Kent Valley Junior Football League brought plenty of goals on a freezing cold weekend of action across all age groups.

In the Under 16 league Kirkby Lonsdale remained top of the division after a crucial 1-0 win over Wattsfield United at Lune Field Park.

Ethan Holgate scored the crucial goal as Kirkby Lonsdale made it four wins from four games played, in the other games James Bennett scored five goals in Kendal United Rockets 8-1 home win over Castle Drive while Grange United defeated Swarthmoor 4-2. Braces by Aidan Pearson and Felix Freuidmann sealed the win that sees United climb up to second place in the table.

The Under 15 League remained competitive as Swarthmoor continued to lead the way at the top after a comfortable 7-2 win at Milnthorpe United. Jason Grave on target with four goals while Luke Armstrong scored a hat trick.

Wattsfield made up ground at the top end of the table after a crucial 4-1 home win over Heathwaite, while Wattsfield United picked up a 4-0 win over Ibis United.

In the Under 14 league Swarthmoor picked up a narrow 1-0 win at Kendal United Rockets in the game of the day. Jack Milburn scored the only goal in a very competitive encounter at The Jubilee Playing Fields.

Braces by Charlie Elleray, Robbie Watson and James Mallett helped Ambleside to a 7-0 win over Kendal United Colts, while Wattsfield defeated Milnthorpe Town 4-2.

Kendal United's dominance of the Under 13 league continued after they picked up a hard fought 3-0 win at Wattsfield United. Tom Humble scored a brace before Connor Graham sealed the victory.

Alex Jackson's brace eased Ambleside to a 2-0 win at Ibis, while Grange United defeated Appleby 6-2.

In the Under 12 League James Bowman scored a hat trick in Ambleside Under 12's 6-3 win at Kendal United Colts.

Wattsfield defeated Grange United 6-2 thanks to Oscar Coxons hat trick, while a brace by Jessie Wilsden and a goal from Jack Mason sealed the win.

Alfie Balmer's hat trick saw Heathwaite Under 12s defeat Kendal United 4-1, while Wattsfield United routed Heathwaite 6-0.
