NETHERFIELD A continue to set the pace in the South Westmorland Senior Bowling League following a comfortable 6-2 win over Holme A.
Elsewhere in the division, Warton A cruised past Carnforth A 8-0, Silverdale A won by the same score against Springfield A, Windermere A defeated Netherfield B 7-1, while both Levens A and Lindale A picked up 6-2 wins against Lower Holker A and Bolton-le-Sands.
In Division Two, Bowness A saw off Lower Holker B 7-1, Kirkby Lonsdale A won 6-2 at Milnthorpe A, Crosthwaite defeated Abbot Hall A 7-1, while Subscription A won 6-2 at Arnside A.
Victoria edged out Burneside A 5-3, while Heversham A were also 5-3 winners after they saw off Ingleborough A.
At the top of Division Three, Warton B suffered a surprise 5-3 defeat at Lindale B, while Hawkshead drew 4-4 with Sedbergh B.
Levens B defeated Staveley A 6-2, Allithwaite A won 7-1 at Holme B, Springfield B defeated Endmoor A 8-0, while Crosthwaite B won 6-2 at Carnforth B.
In Division Four, Netherfield C continued to dominate the Division following a battling 7-1 win at Subscription B, Langdale saw off Burton-in-Lonsdale 6-2, and both Abbot Hall B and Kirkby Lonsdale B picked up 7-1 wins against Heversham B and Windermere B, while Ingleborough B defeated Burneside B 6-2.
Endmoor B, Allithwaite B, Sedbergh A and Silverdale B all picked up key wins in Division Five.
