This time the draw of the UniBond League Cup has thrown up an extra local derby between the two Premier Division sides and this time Kendal have home advantage. Rugby – Home advantage for Kendal and Kirkby
Kendal's first outing in rugby's EDF Intermediate Cup is brings a re-match with North Division One opponents Huddersfield on November 18. After byes in the opening rounds Kendal have home advantage and history of having beaten the Yorkshire side 23-13 back in September, but it will be a tough match as the sides have virtually identical records and currently lie fourth and fifth respectively in the league.
