KENDAL'S ladies sent Chester packing after putting in a dominant display at Mint Bridge.

The Wasps were buzzing from the kick off and ran out eventual 28-5 winners over the Devas.

Despite having several players missing, Kendal mustered a full squad of 22 which was just as well because Chester started brightly.

But, after soaking up a spell of pressure, Vanessa Temple read the game like a book to intercept a pass and run the full length of the field for Kendal's first points of the afternoon.

Abby Bland converted to take the score to 7-0.

The Wasps took control of the game: dominating the scrum and playing free-flowing rugby.

Abby Bland beat two defenders on her charge over the line and converted once more.

The first half finished with Temple adding her second try - the ball was turned over in midfield and spread wide where she collected it, beat three defenders and ran it in under the posts.

Bland again made no mistake from the conversion to make it 21-0 at half time.

Chester upped their game and got their reward with a try but this only spurred Kendal on and it was not long before Temple had her third try of the game and her tenth in three matches so far this season.

The impressive Abby Bland also maintained her 100% kicking record from the last two games.

It finished 28-5 to the rampant Wasps who sit top of the National Challenge North West Division.

The Wasps welcome league favourites Vagabonds to Mint Bridge on November 1.
